Glimpse of sampling along Ganga-Yamuna river system

Himalayan landscape is changing with time due to extensive weathering and erosion with the combined effect of tectonic and climate. Ganga river system plays a major role in transporting the sediments in plains. A group of students ( including Priyamvada Dubey, Research Scholar, IIT Gandhinagar) has sampled all along headwaters of Ganga and Yamuna; and the alluvial plains.
