R. Valli Divya

I did my B.Sc. in Geology from National College(Bharatidasan University) and my M.Sc. in Geology from IIT Bhubaneswar. I havecarried out research internships at PRL, Ahmedabad and IISC, Banglaore. I wasfeatured in the documentary “Unearthing the Treasures of Ariyalur” (Lime Soda films) and been involved with NSS (National Service Scheme) during bachelor’sdegree. I started my PhD at IIT Gandhinagar in July 2022 with CSIR-NET JRF. I am interested in understanding the importance of geological materials atconditions relevant to planetary interiors.

I am a member of Geological Society of America,International Geoscience Education Organisation and UNIFY (United NationsInternational Federation of Youth for Water and Climate). I have done trainingwith the UN Women Training Centre on gender equality and women empowerment.
